Phew!  The Zoe-Meister is back to healthy status!  And I'm thankful to be back too.  We are in the middle of mastering these sentences (with reflexive verbs) and figuring out the best way to use the chapter vocab.  Ya know… the basics!

Here are the things you should be working on:

  • Quizlet
  • Grammar Practice (review the corrections made to your flow charts in class by your classmates)
  • Grammar/Usage Study:  Come to class on Friday with 3 ideas for how to study sentence structure/grammar/usage.
  • ¿Cantas?  Are you singing?  NOVIEMBRE SIN TI
  • Video Projects:  Due December 11 – without fail!  (For more details, read this post.)

Hasta mañana, chicos!

  • Culturally appropriate for the culture we are studying – NO MTV-style videos, etc.
  • Actions in the video/the video plot must reflect the lyrics of the song appropriately.
  • PG rating (or G!):  NOTHING scandalous, sexually suggestive, etc.

  • ALL group members must BE HEARD singing for the entire song.
  • Video groups may have no more than 4 members.  If you must do the video alone, you must notify Sra. Chan.

You may chose to make your video using either FOTOGRAFÍAS (Juanes) or NOVIEMBRE SIN TI (Reik).

LA TAREA:

1.  Using the verbs CANTAR through VESTIRSE, write two sentences for each.  ONE SENTENCE should be written in the PRESENT tense and the other sentence should be written in the PRETERIT tense.  PLEASE SKIP a line between each sentence to leave room for questions/corrections next week.

  1. Pg. 533, Gramática partes 4 y 5 – en oraciones completas en tus apuntes.

And …. .some of you have a vocab quiz!  (Oh joy!)

May I suggest some time on Quizlet?

If you don't know your vocab, it is REALLY difficult to write sentences/respond to personalized questions, etc.
